I have a question about what to use in my project. Recommendations?

Surely everyone here has played a game or plays one, I am in the process of creating a game, the idea is that they are in 3D, that in addition to good graphics, they have an excellent story and so on, but I have a question and it is that they are not I know whether to use vector or raster graphics, which one can you recommend? I would also need you to tell me the pros and cons of using them

You should know that vector graphics can't always provide the same detail and photorealism as raster graphics. If your game requires high-quality textures and details, it may be limited. Some complex effects, such as volume shadows and complex textures, may be more difficult to realize using vector graphics.

2D games are usually limited to moving in two axes, left-right (X) and up-down (Y). This makes them easier to create because they require fewer resources than 3D games. The simpler graphics also make them more accessible to casual gamers who may not have powerful gaming computers or consoles at their disposal.

Vector graphics are defined by mathematical equations rather than individual pixels, as in raster images. For 2D games with simple visual effects, these would be ideal because they don't require much storage space and can be scaled up without loss of quality - ideal if you want your characters or objects to look good at different sizes without requiring additional resources.
