Not relevant to this thread but Nigeria, which has an a exclusive 14 year jail sentence for being gay, is apparently legally the harshest place on the planet for lgbtq people. Yes there are are places like Qatar or Iran where gay people will be whipped or killed, but only if caught for another crime. But in Nigeria you don't have to be doing another crime. You just have to be pointed out as gay.
