By the end of the war billions had died and more followed by radiation poisoning. Many others died having been living in a world of smart phones and computers had no idea how to work or survive many just starved to death. The world after the war was primitive no working machines, generators, fuel and oil refineries all destroyed it was like living in the 1700’s. Very few places survived the wrath of the war, there were a few places in northern Europe in once was Norway, Finland and Sweden, also the rain-forests and jungles in Africa and South America but mostly the farmlands in central what was once the United States. Survivors that could would make their way to these places, those that could not succumbed to the elements. Now 2 years after the war’s end it is the year 2026 there are no countries and to the remaining people survival is the only thing on their minds. After a year of holding off almost the entire world needing some kind of help or diversion Russia as a last ditch effort made a plan to bring in the United States; trying to make it look like China and North Korea they hit the west coast with sub launched missiles and long range ICBM’s from locations inside N. Korea. The ruse didn’t work and the U.S sent their missiles to Russia. Russian subs off the east and west coasts hit all major cities in the U.S. and Canada and in a matter of seconds total world nuclear war was STARTED and ENDED at the same time.
By the end of the war billions had died and more followed by radiation poisoning. Many others died having been living in a world of smart phones and computers had no idea how to work or survive many just starved to death. The E.M.P. from all the nukes knocked out all civilian internet and computer devices early in the war. The world after the war was primitive no working machines, generators, fuel and oil refineries all destroyed it was like living in the 1700’s. Very few places survived the wrath of the war, there were a few places in northern Europe in once was Norway, Finland and Sweden, also the rain-forests and jungles in Africa and South America but mostly the farmlands in central what was once the United States. Survivors that could would make their way to these places, those that could not succumbed to the elements. Before the war the earth’s population was approximately 7.9 billion now after the war there were barely 200 million on the entire planet.
Aftermath
Now 2 years after the war’s end it is the year 2026 there are no countries and to the remaining people survival is the only thing on their minds. CO-OP farms are the only refuge; people worked the farms for food. North American east and west coasts are radioactive wastelands. Protected some by the eastern and western mountain ranges the center of the continent had much reduced radiation. As time passed more land became usable as the radiation dissipated and nature reclaimed the land.
