I was in the exact same boat. I voted for Trump. But as I've gotten into my transition (m2f) and explored my submissive side pretty deeply, I have moved left on some issues pretty quick and, though I'm not even halfway towards the center in this move leftwards, I don't see it stopping anytime soon. All of their arguments started clicking, and I found myself doing things like supporting (local) BLM groups and gave money to one of the more leftist candidates who use that frightening "S" word.
You are correct. Our society is moving to the left. It's better to give in and embrace it than fight it. I mean, I can't really explain how amazing it felt just two months ago to do something as simple as put my preferred pronouns at the top of my bios on sites and correspondence. Or to openly support Pride. Maybe one day we will be marching in real support of a BNWO as well!
