Maybe castration can be used as a "treatment of last resort" for the most emboldened and unruly of ytboiz? That would have an additional affect on the other members of the boi's peer groups after rejoining them post-castration, at least I can imagine it would. They're bound to notice the subtle but pronounced changes in their behavior and attitudes post-castration, which would have a knock-on effect on their individual and group psyche.
