Great story! Really manages to feel realistic without sacrificing the new universe

Pros: Love the world building at the beginning and end, involving the categorization and castration
Cons: It was almost too sweet - the tension in the main character being torn between the two didnt speak to me, but might for more vanilla readers.
The contrast between how sweet the middle, action part of the story was, between how cruel and nasty the beginning and end are, seemed contradictory, but again maybe its just my cup of tea. I like the nasty, castration, BNWO part, lol.
