there's definitely some truth to that. castration was still often a punishment, which makes sense evolutionarily, but eunuchs can be very capable... just not of having biological children.

we have held important positions, just not the very highest ones. i think it suits some of us better, though, and i wish we could access castration more easily and be more open about it.
