Very interesting escalation of stakes in this chapter. Let’s unpack. Stefan is observing that Suzanna is losing her patience with her husband’s vacillation. Does he want, or not want, a reconstruction of their marriage? As always, Stefan is trying to orchestrate their marriage and sex life...
