Is there a way to save posted vids? Also a “add to album” on vids and pics would be awesome!

most browsers will allow you to right click a video and "save video as" Not from the media thumbnails but actually having the video open

We do not enable downloading content due to copyright violation concerns. As for partner sites, I don't think there is one out there with our flavor. In the meantime, please feel free to enjoy our Forums, Media, and Stories sections. We have TONS of material!
